This computer had been acting up for a while, and the people at the campus help desk informed me its hard drive was in its death throes( It MIGHT have something to do with all those times I dropped my laptop on tile floors, BUT that could just be a hilarious coincidence). I was told to transfer all I wished to salvage onto a storage drive, and then the corpse would get cremated or whatever and a completely new hard drive would take its place. I copied over all my important files and folders, double- and triple-checked that I had everything important to me backed up, and brought my terminally ill computer downstairs for its surgery. Isn't it frustrating when you've been working on a little side project in your spare time, and then you suddenly lose interest in it? And every now and then, you'll suddenly really want to get back to it but you'll be too busy and then by the time you're free you find you've lost interest in it again?
